CUSTOM QUILTING

Custom quilting services feature multiple patterns on the same quilt. Custom quilting is typically only required for quilts that need more intricate work done.

Custom and semi-custom quilting costs typically range between about $0.03 and $0.06/square inch. The price will vary as each custom piece varies on density and complexity of the custom designs that are used. We are happy to discuss your quilt design prior to shipping to ensure that we can match your vision.

BINDING 

Machine binding is a flat $45 charge. It consists of attaching the binding on the front and rolling it over to the back and stitching it down using a sewing machine. 

BATTING

We carry Hobbs 80/20 (80% cotton / 20% polyester) batting. Hobbs 80/20 batting is included in the cost of mail in quilting services pricing. If you choose to send your own batting with your quilt, we will be happy to use it as long as it is at least 3 inches larger than your quilt top on each side. There is no discount for using your own batting. For local customers, batting is an additional charge of $8/yard.

QUILT BACKING

Your quilt backing MUST be at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top on all sides. For example, if you quilt top is 60 x 80 inches, your quilt back should be at least 68 x 88 inches.

If you would like us to piece your quilt back for you, there is a $10 charge.
